The camera has a switchable IR filter that works perfectly fine. But the diopter for the eyepiece has limited adjustments. Also, for an eyeglasses wearer like me, it is uncomfortable to get a full view.

Overall, the monocular is well built, but the battery cap is hard to replace as it can cross thread due to spring force if not handled carefully. It would also be great if the battery life were a little longer using the IR illuminator.

I did notice a little lag in the live video, but that may be due to the wifi and not an issue with the monoculars. However, the issue with the SD Card usage is prominent. It didn’t work a few times properly and required me to turn it on again.  

On the trip, I turned the monocular flashlight off when I didn’t have to use it, as the battery ran out quickly. I had to use the monoculars a few times in the dark, and the flashlight was instantly turning on and off. So battery life didn’t cause any problems for me.

However, adjusting the focus, again and again, takes some time. The focus was better when used with a tripod.
