My Beach Table Picks
When I was searching for beach tables recently, I found a lot more options than I was expecting! Below you will find my top picks and also the criteria I found was helpful for deciding which beach table was best for my needs.
Criteria for My Analysis
- Price – Prices for beach table range from roughly $15 – $75. You usually get what you pay for so as you can imagine, the lower end models are typically all made of plastic and metal and are super basic, whereas the higher end models will have rust free components along with more real wood and fabric.
- Height – Height is important. When I was thinking of the height that I wanted, I started to reference the height of my beach chairs and whether the beach table I selected would be a good match as a side table.
- Size – I found that most of the beach tables were roughly the same size, but make sure you look at the dimensions and size the table up in real person. I found that some beach tables have multiple size options and are smaller than they appear online. The best in my opinion are large, but also portable.
- Weight – I found that most of the tables are extremely lightweight, weighing 1-5lbs, but definitely keep this in mind as you factor in overall portability.
- Portability – This is a big one for me personally. I have a ton of stuff that I’m lugging to the beach and the more portable and compact an item can be, the better.
- Cup Holders – Some people prefer not having cup holders. They would rather have more flat surface on which you can place a cup. I personally prefer to have dedicated space for items when on the beach. I’ve lost keys, phones, and other items on the beach in a flash. It’s amazing what can disappear into the sand without a trace.
- Phone Holders – Same goes here as cup holders! dedicated place holders for phones is a big plus.
